Before I go on in this entry about what I wore today or what kinds of yummy treats I made, I just want to send my prayers and heart out to those who have been affected by terrorist attack during the marathon in Boston.
Last weekend had been very busy with my volleyball tournament. Our team didn’t do as well as we liked, I guess everybody has to deal with their setbacks. Despite that, it was a super fun weekend with my girls!
My mom is such a gem and bought me a bubble necklace on Friday. The bay had some really cute ones, and look exactly like the iconic J.Crew necklaces.

Mother also came home today with a big bag of the most delicious cinnamon almonds, made by Cinnabon, from Costco. These things are more addictive than chocolate.
I figured, why not be a little creative and make a nut butter out of these little pieces of heaven on earth. The nut butter is absolutely divine. It is sweeter than regular almond butter and is great to smear on top of apples and bananas…the perfect after school snack.
Pecan Sticky Bun Almond Butter
2 cups Cinnabon cinnamon almonds
1/4 cup of pecans
Follow the same steps as my previous nut butter recipe
Makes 18 one tbsp servings
